“Our soul is like a soft and gentle flower, it needs to be nurtured, cared for, tended to, with sufficient sunlight, fresh air and freedom to bloom into its most precious and beautiful form. This, my friend, is self-love.”

–Miya Yamanouchi

I am a a wife to a kick ass husband and a mom to two beautiful babes, Wyatt and Willow. My journey into motherhood really drew me into photography and the connection between the two is one of nurturing & love.

I have always been intrigued by photography, but I didn’t officially pick up a camera until December 2018. For years prior to being a photographer I worked in Oil and Gas along with my husband. During our journey to get pregnant we struggled with fertility for many years. When we had purchased our home there was not one tree in sight! During that summer my husband and I took on the task of planting 47 trees (by ourselves I should add, along with family!) There was one Willow tree in particular that had a broken trunk, and my husband vowed to nurture this tree back to life. With time, nurturing and love this tree BLOOMED and so did we… we were pregnant that summer!

I left my job in oil & gas and started to become more self-aware and connect to myself on a deeper level.

This is an important part of my journey to photography as pictures have a way of creating such real genuine connections.

I tend to work on all types of projects from love stories, elopement’s, weddings, maternity to motherhood. When I capture a photo I want you to feel the emotions come alive from the image.

If you have a passion for realness & connection you’ve come to the right place. Let’s make some magic together!
